Very nice we thought it may ha e been larger than it actually is. But realize it is a work in progress. The sandwiches in the restaurant and small catering van ran out by 1pm. But had a nice couple of hours there.

The weather was very cold and windy, and the gardens were mostly bare, but we did see snowdrops, daffodils, dwarf irises outside, and narcissi, crocuses and passion flowers in the greenhouses. We walked across to the Chinese garden and up to the lake. We all love being outside in the fresh air, so we greatly enjoyed our experience. We warmed up with a hot drink in the cafe!
The staff in the garden were very helpful and answered our questions.
