Willis Tower
It used to be the Sears Tower, but in 2009, London-based insurance broker Willis Group Holdings acquired the naming rights. No matter what you call it (everybody still refers to it as Sears Tower), it's an architectural icon.
When it was built in 1973 it was the tallest building in the world. It's now 14th-tallest, but offers unrivaled views of the Windy City, and sees more than a million visitors each year.
The Willis Tower's observation deck, known as the Skydeck, offers you a chance to explore one of Chicago's iconic attractions. Tickets are for a specific, timed entry, helping to ensure a smooth and enjoyable visit. As you step onto the 103rd floor at Skydeck Chicago, catch sight of Lake Michigan and the sprawling streets below.
The main highlight is The Ledge (included with your SkyDeck ticket), a glass box extending from the tower, providing an unforgettable view straight down.
