Good communication prior to meeting point, friendly, very knowledgeable having grown up in the area and of Mayan descent, making for very interesting and informative tour. Ensured our comfort by making banyo stop, taking breaks in the shade while still sharing information, telling us ahead of time what to expect on our walk to the ruins. Thoroughly enjoyable and well worth it!

Ich habe die Tour am Tag davor gebucht und war während der Tour mit dem Guide Joel Canul allein, weil sonst niemand dieses Zeitfenster für die Führung gewählt hatte. Ich finde es äußerst lobenswert, dass die Tour trotzdem stattgefunden hat. Jeder einzelne Tourist wird also geschätzt.
Joel war sehr freundlich, spricht hervorragend Englisch und kann viel über die Historie der Maya, die auch die Geschichte seiner Familie ist, erzählen. Er war sehr gut vorbereitet, hatte schon mein Eintrittsticket dabei, einen Sonnenschirm (groß genug für mehr als zwei Personen) auch und außerdem viele Bebilderungen, die das Erzählte veranschaulichen. Es hat mir wirklich großen Spaß gemacht und ich habe vieles gelernt. 10/10
