  • See The White Tower's treasures, including Henry VIII's XXXL suit of armor in the Royal Armouries collection

  • Witness St John's Chapel on the first floor, which dates back to 1080. This makes it the oldest church in London!

  • Booking Tower of London tickets online will save you time and money on the day of your visit

Getting Tower of London tickets is as easy as predicting a British rain shower. Book in advance and save time on your holiday. There are options to buy guided tour tickets, and you can also combine your visit with another attraction.

Choose the right Tower of London tickets for you:

  • Admission to the Tower of London, which comes with the chance to see the authentic Crown Jewels of the United Kingdom, see the famous guardians of the Tower of London (affectionately known as Beefeaters), and visit the Royal Armouries with its collection of armor and weaponry

  • Options to combine your ticket with a private tour, a Thames cruise or a ride on the London Eye

  • Options to get early access to an opening ceremony and see it all without the crowds

  • Children under five can enter for free, no Tower of London tickets ticket needed

  • Several buses and trains stop close to the attraction

  • Temporary exhibitions may require an extra fee

  • The New Armouries Café offers hot meals, including the popular fish and chips

  • Not suitable for prams/strollers due to narrow steps and uneven ground

  • You will need at least 3 hours to see the main highlights of the Tower of London

  • The London Eye is very close by, so it’s useful to buy a combo ticket for both attractions

Tower of London

About: Tower of London

Though most famous for the imprisonments and beheadings held there it has, at various times, served as the royal residence, mint, menagerie, armory, observatory and as the holding place for the Crown Jewels - a function it still serves.

Legend has it that six ravens must guard the tower at all times, or else the kingdom (as in United Kingdom) will fall. The ravens are still there, and so is this nearly thousand year old complex of stocky stone structures.
