The VERTIGO experience at Optus Stadium allows sports fans to step off the roof and walk out on a platform that takes you beyond the edge of Australia's third-largest stadium. Harnessed from above and with no handrails, the more adventurous can push their senses to the limit and dare to lean and look down over the edge! Gulp.

The western viewing deck at Optus Stadium (Perth Stadium for the traditionalists) allows people of all abilities to enjoy a new, uninterrupted view of Perth and the Derbarl Yerrigan (Swan River). This is the first fully accessible rooftop experience at an Australian stadium, providing incredible views of Perth as well as the hallowed Perth Stadium turf.

The new VERTIGO structure weighs 70 tonnes and was built off-site in 15 modular sections, being craned into place during an operational stadium calendar that included three AFL finals, including the AFL Grand Final.

You should have a general level of fitness and be physically and medically fit to take part. No specific training is required before the VERTIGO tour, however, you will be given a safety briefing and guidance from your tour leader on the day.
You must wear enclosed, flat shoes. We recommend sports shoes or something comfortable with some grip.
Wear light and comfortable clothes such as active wear or shorts/tracksuit pants and t-shirt/jumper depending on the weather.
Don't forget your sunglasses and to apply sunscreen to your face and hands.
