This is a small museum, allowing time to review be carefully curated exhibitions. Adding to the experience are the gardens surrounding the museum. there are formal gardens with well placed modern sculptures, but there’s also a sense of nature with a tree tops walk, and an agriculture area. Children are invited to participate in these national arts. All in all it was an experience that exceeded expectations.

Catedral do Porto

The Cathedral of Porto is a Romanesque-Gothic building dating from the 12th and 13th centuries. During the 17th and 18th centuries, the Cathedral went through major renovations that resulted in Baroque features, adding to the diversity of styles in the construction. Inside, it still retains the appearance of a fortress-church, with battlements. The beautiful rose window form the 12th century and the loggia or side porch designed by Nicolau Nasoni in the 18th century, facing the city, are two of the most beautiful features of the Sé.
