Take a day trip from Milan to glamorous Lugano and the sparkling shores of Lake Como and discover why this magical alpine region is known as the “Monte Carlo of Switzerland”. This lakeside city at the foot of the Swiss Alps attracts celebrities, athletes and entertainers with its breathtaking panoramas and elegant shopping.

Here, you have the time to explore boutique shops full of rich Swiss chocolate and fine goods. From there, a private air-conditioned coach will take you to Bellagio, where once again you are free to explore on your own. The famed village of Bellagio, the “pearl of Lake Como”, is where you come ashore.

Your guide will be on hand if you need some ideas for exploring this idyllic spot. Finally, the bus will whisk you back to Milan in time for evening dinner. All that remains is for you to reflect on the sights you’ve seen and the memories you’ve made.

  • The meeting point is at Milan Porta Garibaldi Train Station, in front of the main entrance. Facing the Milan Porta Garibaldi Train Station Main Entrance, the meeting point is on the left side just outside the station, in front of Bricco Café next to the stairs and under the covered portico
  • The City Wonders coordinator will be wearing blue City Wonders polo shirts or jackets to be easily recognizable at the meeting point
  • A passport is mandatory to enter Switzerland
  • From March 18th, 2024, the ferry cruise will be replaced by a 1-hour private boat trip
