After a 75-minute transport from Krakow to Auschwitz, participants take a quick 15-minute break before starting a two-part tour of Auschwitz I and Birkenau, both close by, about 3 km apart.

The tour starts at the Auschwitz I memorial site, where a guide will lead a 2-hour walk, from the main gate to the the brick barracks showcasing photos, artifacts, reconstructions, and the last remaining gas chambers and crematories.

Next, your guide will lead the way to Birkenau for a guided tour.

Once you are picked up at your hotel or meeting point, your tour guide will greet you and provide the necessary museum entrance ticket.
