Went in the first tour of the day. Wished we could have gone to the tour of the complete house. It was lovely and very interesting. I highly recommend the visit. A big fan of Frank Lloyd Wright.

Graycliff is one of Frank Lloyd Wright’s few realized commissions in the 1920s. Looming over Lake Erie from a cliff on the outskirts of Buffalo, NY, Graycliff is one of the most uniuqe summer estates Wright - or maybe anyone - ever designed.

Beset by domestic troubles and divorce complications, Wright’s career, arguably, was rescued with the arrival of the Graycliff commission from his old friends and benefactors, the Martins.
