Getting to the Departure Point:

Bus: Lines 16, 105, 916 or 990 to Széchenyi István tér

Route:

Széchenyi István Square – József Attila Street – (depending on the Traffic: Dohány Street Synagogue) – Andrássy Street – Heroe’s Square – Dózsa György Street – Dráva Street – splash point – cruising for about 50 minutes (you can see from the water the Parliament Building, Chain Bridge, Royal Palace, Citadel, Gellert Hill) – back to land – Danube embankment (weekdays)/ Bajcsy-Zsilinszky Street (weekends) – Széchenyi István square

How to get there:

• Metro: M1 (yellow) / M2 (red) / M3 (blue) to Deák tér station, then walk on Károly körút towards Astoria square
• Tram: 47, 49 to Astoria station, then walk on Károly körút towards Deák tér
• Bus: 7, 78 to Astoria station, then walk on Károly körút towards Deák tér
• The Dohány Synagogue is at walking distance from the Danube, from the downtown hotels in Pest and the pedestrian shopping street Váci utca
