I think this is a wonderful place. Its history is something many people should learn about and reflect on, and it also has a unique charm for those who love sailing.

Take the Uber Boat from central London - it adds to the day. Did both Cutty Sark and the Observatory, and recommend both. Liked that neither location swamped you with information - very well laid out
