We loved Château de Chenonceau. It was royal, with great detail, yet cozy. My wife concluded that it seemed like such a nice place to live because it was designed and decorated by women. Places...
We loved Château de Chenonceau. It was royal, with great detail, yet cozy. My wife concluded that it seemed like such a nice place to live because it was designed and decorated by women. Places like Versailles were designed and decorated by men. We are big fans of the TV series “Serpent Queen” Château de Chenonceau is where the actual people who are depicted in the show once lived. Much of it was also filmed there.

My wife ran around the castle like a child - so excited to see everything. The Leonardo Divici conceived double helix staircase (main stair case) was amazing. We are fans of the TV series...
