The only great great sadness was we could not get into San Marco for the other half of the exhibition
I was promised I did not need to book tickets but unfortunately this was not true

What an incredible exhibition. We thoroughly enjoyed seeing Fra Angelico's work in the Palazzo Strozzi setting. SUPERB!

Om: Palazzo Strozzi
Palazzo Strozzi er en af Firenzes store renæssanceboliger. Den magtfulde bankmand Filippo Strozzi den Ældre bestilte paladset i slutningen af 1400-tallet og beordrede nedrivning af et stort antal allerede eksisterende bygninger i processen.
Det Palazzo Strozzi, vi ser i dag, er en fritstående og smukt proportioneret struktur, der trumfer Medici-paladset, der tilhørte Strozzis forretningsrivaler og politiske rivaler, Medici-familien. Strozzi-familien opgav til sidst ejendommen i den fascistiske periode, og byen Firenze har forvaltet den siden 1999.
Besøgende kommer nu for at se nogle af de mest spændende udstillinger, der afholdes i Italien hvert år.
