Enables you to access the most worthwhile attractions through Orvieto. Note that you need to pick it up at the top of the funicular, before you take the bus into town. Jacobs Well is just down the hill from the Ticket Office, so start with that if you want to do it!

Katedralen basilikaen Santa Maria Assunta er det vigtigste sted for katolsk tilbedelse i Orvieto, i provinsen Terni.
Opførelsen af kirken blev påbegyndt i 1290 på foranledning af pave Nicholas IV, med den hensigt at skabe en enkelt stor katedral for byen til at erstatte de to kirker, der havde eksisteret på pladsen før da.
Designet i romansk stil af en ukendt kunstner, blev konstruktionen derefter overdraget til forskellige arkitekter. Og du må indrømme, at de gjorde et fantastisk stykke arbejde!
