The whole site was a perfect mixture of unspoilt history, coupled with superbly modern facilities for visitors.

You don’t skip many queues unless you want to visit the museum and it wasn’t too busy the day we went.
Still, it’s good to know that you can skip any queue if you need to.

Om: Pont du Gard
Akvædukten Pont du Gard er det mest besøgte franske monument fra antikken. Denne gamle tidligere akvadukt, der nu er på UNESCO's verdensarvsliste, er et af de bedst bevarede romerske steder i verden. Den ligger i Occitanie mellem Nîmes, Uzès og Avignon i Frankrig.
