What a gem. Definitely should be on anyone’s list when visiting Houston. Super friendly and helpful staff. Great architecture. The Bistro was especially good, with authentic Spanish inspired food.

Wonderful museum! Very interesting collections in the main building and great to see the other exhibits like Cy Twombly as well. Went on a Thursday so was easy to park. The Meneil Bistro is a lovely place to eat lunch as well.

Menil-samlingen i Neartown Houston, Texas er et museum, der viser John og Dominique de Menils private samling. Indenfor finder du omkring 17.000 malerier, tryk, fotografier, skulpturer, sjældne bøger og tegninger.

Samlingen indeholder en imponerende liste over surrealistiske og moderne mesterværker med værker af nogle af det 20. århundredes største navne som Picasso, René Magritte, Jackson Pollock og Andy Warhol.
