Glad we spent the time going thru the Knossos Palace. It is a large complex that was made clearer by hiring a guide to explain.

We were waiting in a long line at the gates, I hopped online and bought our tickets within minutes and skipped past the line right into the site. Definitely recommend.

Knossos itself is incredible. We were able to be very early into the site on a Tuesday morning, and had the luxury of a very uncrowded experience. The audio tour that we purchased as an add-on was...
Knossos itself is incredible. We were able to be very early into the site on a Tuesday morning, and had the luxury of a very uncrowded experience. The audio tour that we purchased as an add-on was disappointing. It told stories instead of facts about the site itself, and didn't guide us to several very important areas.
