This can't be called a Museum of any kind of experience. Please make sure you call before visiting so they are not renovating and you end up paying just to see some 2-3 small rooms and a few...

This can't be called a Museum of any kind of experience. Please make sure you call before visiting so they are not renovating and you end up paying just to see some 2-3 small rooms and a few painted corners. It was such a dissapontment! Us romanians still have to work a lot on our attractions skills. The walls are inflated with water and the place lacks cleaning and air. Never again!

Paleis van Ceauşescu

Het paleis van Ceauşescu was het woonpaleis van de voormalige communistische dictator Nicolae Ceauşescu en zijn vrouw Elena. Het weelderige paleis, dat nu dienst doet als museum, werd in 1989 bestormd door anti-communistische revolutionairen. Groot was de schok toen zij ontdekten in welke luxe het echtpaar baadde, terwijl de Roemeense bevolking leefde onder de meest erbarmelijke omstandigheden.
