No one was there to guide us the process. Infact the guide wasn’t there at blue mosque. I was charged for ticket but i got to know that entry to mosque is free.

The time was for 9.30am and arrive 10 mins early. There was no one there. I waited till 10.15. Then the guid arrived. Instead of the guid walking us through, he stood in one spot and showed us pictures on his phone. It would have been quicker and better if I bought my ticket there.

The ticket, which is very expensive, contains many uninteresting features that are forcefully included in the ticket cost. Moreover, at the ticket offices it turns out that this ticket cannot be used (e.g. Hagia Sophia, Hagia Sophia Museum, etc.). The scandal was the situation when, despite having this ticket, I still had to stand in a long queue to Hagia Sophia and additionally spend 25 euros on another ticket!!!!! The Archaeological Museum is 2/3 under renovation and is inaccessible, which is not mentioned on the website or in the guide. When I asked him at the museum how many hours it would take us, he said it had 3 huge parts and 9 hours. However, it was mostly closed and I finished the tour after an hour. Didn't the guide know about this??? Mr. Hasan, a great guide, talks very interestingly about the monuments. To sum up: it is not worth buying the Istanbul Ticket Pass.

De Basilica Cisterne is een wateropslag uit de 6e eeuw met een capaciteit van 80.000m3 water. Deze waterkelder ligt onder de straten van Istanboel en wordt ondersteund door bogen en 336 marmeren zuilen.
Het Dolmabahçepaleis was het laatste paleis dat door het Ottomaanse sultanaat werd gebouwd in de Turkse metropool Istanboel. Het paleis ligt aan de kust, dicht bij de veerboten die vertrekken vanuit Beşiktaş.
De Galata Toren (ook bekend als het Galata Kulesi Museum) staat als een wachttoren in Istanboel, Turkije. De gerestaureerde Galata toren werd in 1348 gebouwd en tijdens de Vierde Kruistocht verwoest, maar is nu een museum met een observatiedek dat de bezoekers een panoramisch uitzicht over Istanboel biedt.
