We first had to walk from the specified meeting point to the cruise harbour in Tronchetto, which took about 20 minutes of the excursion. The boat already had some damage, and the captain was obviously struggling to steer the boat properly. We then travelled through the Guidecca Canal at a very leisurely pace. Certainly not a disadvantage on a day with good weather, but unfortunately we had a rainy day and apparently the crew of the ship didn't feel like closing the large doors on the starboard and port side. To our surprise, we didn't even go to Murano, but first to a new stop near the Arsenale station (about 150 metres from St Mark's Square). There was also a queue of 100 other guests for whom there was never enough room in the rain-protected area of the boat. When docking, the captain rammed the dolphins again and by now the first hour of the trip was already over. We didn't have a good feeling about the whole thing and cancelled the trip. It may have been a great experience for other guests afterwards, but it all seemed very unprofessional to me.
