The Temple of Hatshepsut is an ancient Egyptian mortuary temple, dubbed the "Holy of Holies". It was built in Luxor, on the west bank of the Nile, for the Egyptian Queen of the 18th dynasty, Hatshepsut. The temple is also dedicated to the Egyptian god Amun and showcases the most prominent displays of classic architecture in ancient Egyptian buildings.
