Prague Castle, a key cultural site in the Czech Republic, dates back to the 9th century. It has been home to Bohemian Kings, Holy Roman Emperors, and Czech presidents.

Begin your visit by meeting a representative in front of St. Vitus Cathedral. They will provide a brief introduction in English and give you details about your ticket and navigating the Castle complex. You will also receive a map of the complex.

The online audio guide highlights the most important parts of each section. Follow the recommended route on the map, designed by experienced tour guides.

During September and October, particularly around the Independent Czechoslovak State Day (Czech Independence Day), some buildings within the Prague Castle complex can be closed for an annual Crown Jewel Exhibition and award ceremony.
