How to get there

  • From Naples by car: take highway E45 towards Tirrenia/SR18 and proceed to the Pompeii Ovest exit. Continue on the SS18 towards Tirrenia Inferiore and follow the signs to Piazza Esedra. The meeting point will be on your right.
  • By train: Get off at the Pompeii Scavi Villa Dei Misteri stop. With the station behind you, go right and go straight for 350 meters. You will see the meeting point.

  • If you arrive from Naples or Salerno we recommend you to use the Ferrovie dello Stato line and get off at the Central Station of Pompei

Its a cool introduction to pompei city, but to explore it all you need a day or more. Would recommend. 10/10

They take you to mountain, give you like 1-1:30 hours to climb to the top yourself and back before taking you back. The guide is on top of mountain for free for everyone.

Actually good trip, but they were not keen to provide any guide. Recommend to book the trip earlier than 3pm
