Palma Cathedral is a ‘must see’ . The audio tour is not great so consider alternatives. The Miro Foundation had building works but didn’t detract from the exhibits: a small but rich selection of objects and works - an atmospheric immersion into Miro’s working environment. Main highlight for me were the beautifully designed studio and the powerful tapestries.

Royal Palace of La Almudaina

The Royal Palace of La Almudaina is an official residence of the King and Queen of Spain, although you probably won't see them on your visit! Visitors can instead explore the grand rooms and apartments, and the chapel, at their leisure. See the opulent art, tapestries and furniture, then wander through the tranquil gardens. The palace was actually a 10th-century Muslim fortress, rebuilt in the Gothic style by the Christians. It is located in Palma de Mallorca, Spain.

Fundació Joan Miró

The hometown museum of one of the 20th century's greatest artists is the outcome of a friendship between two extraordinary creative personalities: Joan Miró, and his friend, the architect Josep Lluís Sert. The Fundació Joan Miró not only houses the single greatest collection of his work – the unconventional building is considered one of the most outstanding museum buildings in the world. Once you step inside, you’ll discover the paintings, sculptures, some textiles and drawings. There are thousands of items here and you’ll be able to pick out the artistic evolution of the artist.
