This is a must see if you are in Avignon. It is central to the history of the city. Take a tour as it is so worth it to learn all about it. Leave yourself enough time to explore as there is so much to see.

Very easy. Completely bypassed the main line and entered through a separate entrance. Was a great deal. Entrance to the Palace, the Garden and the Point all on one easy to use electronic ticket
