Hop on Bus 435 to go to Monserrat Castle didn't come. Wondered if we were in right place to catch it. Tried a taxi but he sat in car telling us to wait while he sat chatting on his phone. V Were advised 435 bus went from up the top of a hill which we climbed. Stood in heat waiting but no sign of bus. No signs, no one really to ask. We decided to leave the castle and went back "home" to Lisbon.

Good morning. I bought tickets for Palacio Pena the day before the visit. The visit was scheduled for 10:00. One hour before we were at the bus stop in the in Sintra square. Waiting and changing buses we arrived at Pena Palace at 10:30. So we couldn't skip the queue. We did the regular queue, quite smooth. At the entrance to the palace, the code was scanned and the ticket was not valid. The lady on staff was very kind, she checked the payment receipt and let us in anyway.
