National Gallery of Victoria

The oldest and most visited art gallery in Australia, the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) comprises two stunning buildings, NGV International and The Ian Potter Centre.

Combined, they offer a diverse array of exhibitions, programs, and events in the heart of Melbourne. Featuring contemporary art, historic showcases, fashion and design, the NGV attracts millions of visitors each year and ranks among the top 20 most popular galleries worldwide.

Open from 10am–5pm daily, general entry to the NGV is free. Admission fees apply for special ticketed exhibitions.
