Hypogeum of the Crystallines is an ancient cemetery near Naples. The site dates back 2,300 years – before the Romans – to ancient Greeks who dubbed the city Neapolis (now modern-day Naples). Discovered in 1889 and now open to the public, visitors can explore the ancient tombs hidden under the city's streets. The site boasts burial chambers, ancient frescos, and Greek sculptures that look just as they did thousands of years ago.

The San Lorenzo Maggiore Complex is a church that stands at the geographic center of Naples. Visitors can see the remains of an ancient Roman market beneath the church itself, wander the museum, and see the detailed frescoes on the ceilings of Chapter Hall.

The Monumental Complex of St. Anne of Lombardi (Santa Maria di Monte Oliveto), is a church in Naples dating back to the early 15th century. It was once one of Italy's largest monasteries, with numerous chapels throughout, and attracted patronage from the kings of Naples.
