The Museum of Modern Art Ludwig Foundation occupies a special spot in the Vienna cityscape - you can't miss that huge bluestone facade. The imposing cuboid structure was designed by Austrian architects Ortner & Ortner. Loved by locals and visitors, the exterior is just a taste of what you get inside.

Housing 10,000 works by 1,600 artists, mumok is a place where classical modernism blends with 60s and 70s avant-garde. And frequently changing exhibitions offer excellent insights into the world of modern art and artistic evolution.
