It was around 2hrs each way from Cairns Quay to Michaelmas Cay, so you do need good sea legs. The highlight was the part submersible which took you up close to the Reef. We saw some big turtles, giant claims & thousands of Reef fish.
The snorkelling was also excellent, with the small island providing some shelter from the prevailing wind. Food on board was very good, staff were very knowledgeable and gave great customer service. A very enjoyable and memorable day trip.
