Starlight Express is an Olivier Award–winning musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber, performed at the specially built Starlight Auditorium at Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre.
The show features a cast of 40 performers on roller skates who move around and above the audience. It combines music, choreography, and staged stunts to tell the story.
The plot follows a child’s train set that comes to life, where engines compete to be the fastest in the world. Rusty, a steam train, struggles to keep up until he finds confidence through the legend of the Starlight Express.
The show has been performed internationally and has been seen by more than 20 million people.
