Buona esperienza. Poca chiarezza negli orari della barca tra Isola Madre e Isola Pescatori, come testimoniato dalle molte persone che aspettavano sul molo pensando che la barca dovesse essere già lì, come in effetti ci era stato comunicato. Per le altre tratte non ci sono stati problemi.

Amazing!! It was quite easy to find the ticket desk for the “paper ticket”. The route was isola Madre, isola dei pescatori (perfect for lunch or aperitivo) and isola Bella. Staff was amazing!

Lago Maggiore is a big lake located in northern Italy on the south side of the Alps. It was once a haunt for the English royals, and before that, for Ernest Hemingway, who would take artistic inspiration from the idyllic Borromean Islands. Highlights now include a palace and a botanical garden.

The lake and its shoreline are divided between the Italian regions of Piedmont and Lombardy and the Swiss canton of Ticino. Navigazione Isole Lago Maggiore is the starting point for passenger ferries to the Borromean Islands and beyond.
