About: KGB Prison Cells

The KGB Prison Cells are a former Soviet pre-trial internment facility located in Tallinn. These notorious cells were used by the Estonian Soviet Socialist Republic (ESSR) to interrogate and torture politicians, civil servants, intellectuals, veterans of the War of Independence, and other members of the public before they were executed or sent to prison.
