You can walk around the Georgia Aquarium in about 3-4 hours and get a good look at everything this way without rushing.
Weekends are usually the busiest times, so make sure you get there early!
Hungry bellies don't need to rumble for long, thanks to the awesome food inside Café Aquaria.
Café Aquaria is the only dining option inside Georgia Aquarium but there's something for everyone, from a nice selection of salads and wraps to a buffet-style lunch spread with meat and veggie options. There's also a grill, so line up for your pizzas, burgers and chicken tenders, all cooked to order.
One of the best times to plan a Georgia Aquarium visit is in the middle of the week (Monday – Thursday). You'll also avoid most of the school groups on field trips if you go in the late afternoon.
If you really have to go in the morning, try to get there early and plan your route so you move quickly, before the crowds catch up!
No outside food or drinks are allowed in the Georgia Aquarium, unless it's just small snacks for children or special supplies for people with food allergies. The aquarium has several water bottle filling stations, so do bring a refillable water bottle with you.
Georgia Aquarium has established – and strictly enforces – a “No Weapons” policy. Leave your firearms and knives at home, folks.
