Tickets had to be exchanged at the Dom museum. The staff were very friendly here and the exhibits were interesting. The catacombs tour was very crowded and rushed.

Enjoyed the tour and catacombs. Getting the tickets at the Museum was difficult. No signs for museum, took us half an hour to track the place down.

The strange cuboid building in Vienna's fashionable Museumsquartier contains the most-visited museum in the city. The Leopold Museum has a remarkable collection of Viennese Art Nouveau, the Vienna Workshop, and of the Expressionist period. It also has the largest Egon Schiele collection in the world - plus masterpieces by Gustav Klimt. There are also revolving exhibitions and a great shop and cafe (with a great view overlooking the Museumsquartier).

mumok

The imposing cuboid structure was designed by Austrian architects Ortner & Ortner. Loved by locals and visitors, the exterior is just a taste of what you get inside. Housing 10,000 works by 1,600 artists, mumok is a place where classical modernism blends with 60s and 70s avant-garde. And frequently changing exhibitions offer excellent insights into the world of modern art and artistic evolution.
