Take a sunset cruise on the Chicago River from Michigan Avenue. Travel along the main branch toward Lake Michigan and pass through the Chicago Locks.

Cruise onto Lake Michigan while the sun sets behind the city skyline. The tour guide will briefly describe the Chicago River and Lake Michigan, but most of the 1.5-hour cruise is quiet, letting you observe the sunset over the city.

  • The closest address to most piers is 400 N Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL 60611 (near the Wrigley Building). From there, you can check in with a pier attendant who can direct you to the boarding area
