For the Amsterdam Light Festival 2023-2024, artists were asked to ponder the impact of technology and artificial intelligence (AI) on our daily lives.

How does it shape our communication, engagement, and creativity? What's its effect on humanity, and where do the boundaries lie?

The route showcases over twenty light artworks crafted by international artists, from well-known figures to exciting newcomers.

Amsterdam Light Festival – dates and times:

Running from 30 November 2023 - 21 January 2024.

Lights turn on every evening between 17:00 and 23:00.

The cruise takes approximately 75 minutes, depending on the wind.

  • Cancellation is possible until 24 hours before your visit.
  • Rescheduling is possible until 24 hours before your visit.

Es wurden leider keine warmen Getränke auf dem Boot angeboten. Somit war die Fahrt ziemlich kalt. Etwas enttäuschend, weil nicht so viele Lichter zu sehen waren wie beschrieben. So eine Fahrt...

Its just an average visit. People sitting on left had advantage as most of the lighting things were that side. We were sitting on right side (standing with face direction towards boat rowing).
