Well, we expected to go to Albertina, not Albertina Modern, yet there was no information that's the different ticket and different place and also this ticket was visible on the regular Albertina...
Well, we expected to go to Albertina, not Albertina Modern, yet there was no information that's the different ticket and different place and also this ticket was visible on the regular Albertina google maps site, which caused extra confusion... So in the end we bought the tickets twice and lost money

DONT GO TO ALBERTINA MODERN ( right now is almost every collection closed, only 2 rooms). Easy The Albertina museum is a piece of art, amazing. The tickets are easy to use it! Only scan the code...

About: Albertina Modern

Housed inside Vienna's old Künstlerhaus on the city's famous Ringstrasse, the Albertina Modern made its long-awaited opening in 2020 after three years of renovation to the grand 19th-century building.

Unlike the nearby Albertina Museum, the Albertina Modern puts major emphasis on modern and contemporary Austrian art through both its permanent and temporary collections. It provides a dedicated space for the Essl Collection, which was acquired in 2017. It also houses an impressive amount of international art, with extensive German and American collections.
