The driver arrived on time and was very helpful throughout the situation. However, when we got there, there was no ticket for me. The QR code from the Tiqets app didn’t work, and my name wasn’t on the list. I had to buy a new ticket and entered the show late. After the show, the driver kindly refunded me the money I had paid for the new ticket. Even though I didn’t end up paying twice, it was not a pleasant experience overall — but the driver handled it very well.

I booked the ‘Full-day private tour with lunch and transfer’. I was picked up on time and the driver did a great job overall, getting us safely to our destinations.

I booked the ‘Full-day private tour with lunch and transfer’. I was picked up on time and the driver did a great job overall, getting us safely to our destinations.
My tour guide Zainab, who introduced herself to everyone as Rosa, was unfortunately mediocre at best. She was able to say a little about all the places we visited, but she didn't have any in-depth knowledge and couldn't explain any historical contexts to me. I could have read what she told me on Wikipedia myself, which is not why I book a guided tour. A visit to the Hanging Church was part of the programme. We did visit churches in the Coptic quarter, but not the Hanging Church. I even asked her later if one of the churches we visited was the Hanging Church, which she confirmed. After doing my own research later, I found out that this was a lie and that we had not been to the Hanging Church. She couldn't tell me anything about any of the churches because, according to her, she had never been to a church before... On the contrary, in the churches I suddenly found myself in the role of a guide and explained something to her. For a tourist guide, that's a poor performance by Rosa/Zainab.
Lunch was good, even though I had hoped for a less touristy restaurant.
The tour itinerary has potential if you have never been to Cairo and just want to take great photos, but Zainab/Rosa was unfortunately not suitable as a guide who is supposed to impart knowledge.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! Visiting the Pyramids of Giza, Saqqara, and Memphis was already a breathtaking experience, but what truly made it exceptional was our incredible guide, Ahmed.
From the very beginning, Ahmed was professional, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable. This wasn’t just a tour – it felt like a journey through time. His passion for Egyptian history was contagious, and he brought every site to life with fascinating stories and detailed explanations. He answered all of our questions with patience and insight, helped us navigate the more touristy areas with ease, and made sure we felt safe and comfortable at all times.
The organization of the tour was smooth, the pacing was perfect, and the included lunch was a great touch. But above all, it was Ahmed’s warmth, expertise, and charisma that made this day truly unforgettable. I would 100% recommend this tour – and if you can, request Ahmed as your guide. He’s simply the best!
