In 2022, the Domaine national de Chambord invited the residents of Grand Chambord and the commune of Muides-sur-Loire to take part in the Grande collecte. More than 1,000 photographs and dozens of testimonials were collected at the town halls, illustrating the close and diverse ties that bind the region to "its" monument.
These photographs illustrate the richness of the moments lived in Chambord: weddings, births, family reunions, work in the fields, fishing in a pond, official visits, hunting in the forest and other significant events...
To thank local residents for their involvement, the Domaine national de Chambord, the Communauté de communes and the partner communes now invite them to discover the Chambord et nous exhibition, which presents the most representative photos from the collection, divided into seven themes.

Combine Château de Chambord with other Chambord favorites. Some things are better together.
The Château de Chambord is an imposing architectural wonder symbolic of the French Renaissance and a ruler with a serious penchant for the arts.
Commissioned by King François I, with design elements attributed to Leonardo da Vinci, it is considered to be the largest and most majestic château in the Loire Valley. Visitors can explore the château and its surrounding forest and gardens during the day on a self-guided tour. It is located in Chambord, France.
