Fast helicopter trip, but wow - it was a big dopamine hit. I travel by air a lot, but I've never been in a helicopter before, so seeing the city from above in this way was amazing. The layover in Versailles isn't actually IN or NEAR the castle. It's in a louge in a tiny airfield (oh, and I mean field). No restrooms in the lounge, so go before you fly.
The communication with the Helipass team was good. It was a little rough at times because they aren't fluent in English and I'm not great in French. And yet somehow, it all came together.
Bottom line - I'd recommend the Helipass tour. Keep your cameras at the ready and try to stay in the moment, even as you're taking pics and video. It's incredible!
