Fascinating place. Very large and peaceful. Don't expect much in the way of 'interpretation' panels etc, and some of the buildings were not accessible the day we went. However for sheer scale and atmosphere it is amazing. Easy and cheap to get to by metro and train from central Rome. Small cafe and loos

Really cool archeological site that was very quiet and uncrowded. A lot of interesting things to walk around and see. A very nice way to get away from the chaos of Rome
