阿姆斯特丹学派的建筑风格诞生于1910年，直到1930年才在荷兰崛起。它成为国际表现主义建筑的一个重要亮点，有时与德国砖块表现主义相联系。

这个绰号为 "船 "的社会住房综合体最初是由建筑师米歇尔-德克勒克设计的。它曾经是一所小学，现在仍然是阿姆斯特丹学派最著名的标志性建筑之一--而且同样具有教育意义。

浏览永久展览《阿姆斯特丹学派，构建的理想》，其中展示了在该运动中如此关键的建筑和装饰艺术。

Loved the guided tour in English (every day at 3 pm). Highlights were seeing the old art nouveau style post office and the inside of the apartment. Learned a lot about the Amsterdam School and now...

The exhibition is fantastic. But be mindful that the museum is closed on Monday and you have sold me the ticket for Monday. I was lucky that there was very helpful staff who opened the exposition...
