This time, we shine a spotlight on the best local museums and attractions.
Using customer ratings, a panel of internal Tiqets judges and a public vote,
we'll narrow down the venues that have made a lasting impression on visitors throughout 2024.
About the Remarkable Venue Awards
This year, we'll recognize the best museums and attractions in six countries: The Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, the UK.
From this selection, the nominated venues will compete in five categories: Best Museum, Best Landmark, Best Activity, Best Family Experience, and Best Hidden Gem. Winners will be chosen based on 2M+ customer reviews on Tiqets.com.
The local winner for each category will also contend for the coveted Most Remarkable Venue Award, and Tiqets' internal panel will decide the RVA champion for each country. View the 2023 award winners.
There will be 4 nominees per category and country based on customer reviews. Then the public will vote for local winners for each category.

The Best Museum award recognizes the best museums and art galleries featured on Tiqets.com.
Best
Landmark
This category honors venues such as places of worship (cathedrals, churches, etc), castles, palaces, historical or iconic landmarks, and observation decks.
Best Family
Experience
This award emphasizes the best family-friendly attractions, such as theme parks, zoos, and waterparks.
Best
Activity
This category focuses on stand-out activities, experiences, and attractions. From culinary experiences
and cruises, to sightseeing tours and day trips.
Best
Hidden Gem
A hidden gem refers to an outstanding, unique, or special venue, attraction or activity.
This award category highlights lesser-known and more niche attractions.
Most Remarkable Venue Award
Our Most Remarkable Venue Award is reserved for the best of the best of each category.
The 5 local winners of each category will compete and an internal Tiqets panel will decide the winner for each country.
Regional nominees
Nominees will be selected using customer reviews on Tiqets.com. Once the nominees are finalized, the public will vote for local winners in each country.
Regional winners
Nominated venues that receive the most votes from the public will become the regional winners for each category. Regional winners will compete for the Most Remarkable Venue Award and an internal Tiqets panel will decide winners for each country. All winners will be announced at local events in October and November.
