Enables you to access the most worthwhile attractions through Orvieto. Note that you need to pick it up at the top of the funicular, before you take the bus into town. Jacobs Well is just down the hill from the Ticket Office, so start with that if you want to do it!

Bazylika katedralna Santa Maria Assunta jest głównym miejscem kultu katolickiego w Orvieto, w prowincji Terni.
Budowa kościoła rozpoczęła się w 1290 roku na polecenie papieża Mikołaja IV z zamiarem stworzenia jednej dużej katedry dla miasta w celu zastąpienia dwóch kościołów, które istniały wcześniej na placu. Zaprojektowana w stylu romańskim przez nieznanego artystę konstrukcja została następnie powierzona różnym architektom.
