  • Bezoek een authentieke Nederlandse windmolen en kom alles te weten over de geschiedenis
  • Bekijk het uitzicht op de nabijgelegen molens vanaf de bovenste verdieping van het museum
  • Luister naar verhalen over de mensen die in de windmolens woonden en werkten

Neem deel aan een interactieve tour die al je zintuigen prikkelt in het Molenmuseum. Maak je klaar om terug te reizen in de tijd en ontdek de drijvende kracht achter de hoogtijdagen van de Gouden Eeuw met je combiticket voor de World of Windmills. Daarna bezoek je molens uit de 17e eeuw - die nog steeds werken - om hun kracht, geluid, bewegingen en geuren te ervaren, en meer te leren over het gebied waar meer dan 1100 windmolens stonden.

Je ontdekt ook de rijke geschiedenis van de molens en luistert naar verhalen over de mensen die hier woonden en werkten. Als je vragen hebt, mis dan je kans niet om een praatje te maken met een van de vele vrijwilligers en molenaars van het museum.

The ticket was not recognised by half the people in Zaanse Schans! I had to argue to get into a number of exhibits.
The exhibition and the windmills themselves (once you got in) were very interesting.

If possible i would have given negative rating.. It seems that there was a lack of proper information, guidance, or a contact phone number for World of windmills. On the 12th of May, which was the last day of our trip in Holland, I purchased tickets for myself and my wife to visit the World of Windmills in order to end the trip on a memorable note. Since my daughter is one year old, she didn't require a ticket. However, when we arrived at the address mentioned on the ticket at 12:00 pm, we were surprised to find out that the location had been shifted to Zaanse Schans. We then went to Zaanse Schans at 12:30 pm and inquired about the World of Windmills. To our surprise, no one in the area seemed to know about it. We asked in the stores at the entrance and even in the cheese tasting store, but had no luck. We walked around the entire Zaanse Schans and inquired at the open windmills, but still no one knew about the World of Windmills – some even questioned its existence. I tried to reach out via phone, but was unsuccessful. Finally, we gave up and started our journey back to Frankfurt. Finally, I tried for reambusment for the ticket which we brought, to our surprise we have received a AI generated email which say to follow the link in which there are many answers to many question but not to the one which i have asked.

Activité réservée mais l’adresse indiquée sur la réservation avec notre gps nous n’y sommes jamais arrivés. Mauvaise adresse. Du coup quand nous y sommes arrivés activité fermée !
