This trip was fantastic, I learned so much and felt like I was in good hands the whole time, safely brought back to Rome. If you have a day to spend in Pompeii, I recommend it!

The ground is too uneven for people who have problems walking. In the morning there was no one at the meeting point with a sign like they said there would be. We almost didn’t get the lunch because we were rushed back onto the bus. We arrived back to Rome 2 hours ahead of the time shown. I don’t know why we were rushed back to Rome. We had shopped a little waiting for the tour to start in Pompei, but waited to buy until afterwards and the prices were no longer what had been quoted. There are morning and afternoon prices, apparently. The drive to Pompei took 3 hours, but the drive back was only 2 hours. The morning driver stopped to let people use a bathroom, but only gave us 10 minutes so that still doesn’t make sense to me as to why it took longer to get there. It felt very unorganized.
