What's on at San Diego Zoo Safari Park

The crash of southern white rhinos at San Diego Zoo Safari Park has gotten a little bit bigger. In August 2021, a female calf joined the family and she's growing fast!

Rhino calves gain around 100 pounds of weight a month during their first year, and as of November baby Kamaria is already around 350 pounds.

Keep an eye out for Kamaria – which means “beautiful like the moonlight” in Swahili – and her mum Kianga when you take your safari.
