About: Wet 'n' Wild Hawaii

Wet’n’Wild Hawaii is Oahu’s top 10 most visited family attraction on the island and recently voted Best of Honolulu Magazine’s “Best Family Attraction”.

Opened in May 1999. The park is located in Kapolei, Oahu’s “Second City”, the park features more than 25 exhilarating attractions. Nestled on 29-acres in lush tropical landscaping and natural cliffs, you will find a different adventure in each corner ideal for families and thrill seekers alike. Adrenaline addicts can enjoy slides like Shaka – which plunges guests down a sheer 36- foot drop almost vertically into a u-shaped slide to experience a zero-gravity sensation; or Tornado, which catapults guests through a swirling 45-foot funnel into the eye of the storm and into calmer waters. The park also features tamer attractions like Lil Kahuna Beach, 8,000 square feet featuring slides, tipping buckets, and spray features; or Hawaiian Waters, a 400,000-gallon wave pool where you can body board on machine generated waves.

Built during World War II, the Battleship Missouri finished production in time to serve at the battles of Okinawa and Iwo Jima. Designed to be a fast battleship, just like her Iowa-class sisters – USS Iowa (BB 61), USS New Jersey (BB 62), and USS Wisconsin (BB 64) – the Missouri was the youngest of the fleet. Measuring 887'3" (270.4m) in length, the ship could travel faster than 33 knots, a notable difference from her Japanese contemporaries and their 26-knot capacity. During a tour of the ship, you'll have the chance to explore the decks and learn fascinating facts about the Missouri's past.
