  • Learn about the daily lives of the largest Jewish diaspora in Europe. Visit pre-war Nalewki and discover the dramatic fate of Jews imprisoned in the Warsaw Ghetto
  • Find out how the urban planners reconstructed the city over the rubble of pre-war Warsaw, and see what makes Muranów unique today
  • See archaeological finds unearthed during the museum construction works, like cutlery, glass cups, eye glasses, and tailor’s scissors

This fascinating historical museum presents over 1,000 years of Jewish life in Poland. It allows visitors to explore past and present Jewish culture, providing a counterpoint to the stereotypes, xenophobia, and nationalistic prejudice threatening today's societies. POLIN promotes openness, tolerance, and truth, contributing to the mutual understanding and respect between Polish and Jewish people.

Don't miss the exhibition The Legacy Gallery, dedicated to the Polish Jews’ contribution to world heritage. In this fascinating journey you'll dive deep into the lives of 26 individuals whose work represents creative achievement in the fields of art, literature, music, film, theatre, science and the humanities, law, education, economics and politics. Each unique Jewish biography throws a new light on the historical turmoil of the times they endured, from the perspective of their Polish-Jewish roots.
